Our approach
Inspiration you can
make sense of.
Garden Ideas Now connects garden inspiration to the conditions, dimensions, effort and decisions behind it.
What these guides are
Original, AI-assisted editorial guides and illustrative design concepts. We do not claim that we have built the gardens shown, tested plants in our own trial garden, or had every article approved by a horticulturist. Sources are linked so you can check consequential advice.
What the pictures show
Our generated garden images are clearly labelled AI-generated concepts. They suggest composition, atmosphere and material relationships. They cannot establish plant identity, exact dimensions, structural suitability or seasonal performance.
Conditions before prescriptions
US and UK sources provide the initial reference points. Climate, local native ranges, regulations and plant availability vary. A hardiness zone describes only one part of suitability; check heat, rainfall, drainage and exposure as well.
Sources and dates
We prefer horticultural societies, university extension services, public agencies and the original source of a trend claim. A source-check date records an editorial check, not a new discovery or proof that guidance applies everywhere. Design arithmetic is labelled as an example with its assumptions.
Where specialist advice matters
Structural loading, retaining walls, drainage alterations, electrical work, tree roots, contaminated soil and water safety can require local qualified advice. A drawing or quantity calculator is not an engineering specification. Plant toxicity and invasive status must be checked for the exact botanical name and location.
Privacy
The notebook and drawing tools use local browser storage on this device. They do not create an online account or send your notes to us. Browser data can be cleared; download a JSON backup to move or preserve your work.
This site does not add advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Your hosting provider processes ordinary web requests to deliver the site. External source links lead to websites with their own policies.
Accessibility
Our target is WCAG 2.2 AA: readable text, clear headings, keyboard-operable controls, visible focus and meaningful alternatives to images. This is a design target, not a certification of complete conformance.
